For a Children's Hospice

Hi,

all I had to stop all my "normal" stitching. Why? Every year I try to stitch something for a charity. This year someone was asking on the Cross Stitch Crazy Wall on FB for help. They are trying to do a big wallhanging with football badges for a children's hospice. So I did offer to do one. Well, it's finished now and will go in the post this morning.

So I can get back to my own things. I'm nearly finished with the Tatty Teddy Adventscalendar. Then it's back to the calendar cats :-)

Hello friends,

I have put the February cat beside. No I haven't given up. Well not yet anyway but I just had to stitch two designs from this month's Crazy Magazine. Why you ask? Well, Lucy has charted a ambulance just for my little Mario, who has had a couple of rides in one last year. He really hero worships ambulances and their crew now because they have "fixed him up". So he wanted an ambulance for his bedroom but all I have found where american ones or one with wonky wheels. Mario really like his very own ambulance....

......and I had to stitch Grace Kelly for my OH. He likes all the old musicals. So I stitched her for him to go on his wall of stars. I did the last few stitches while watching High Society. It was really nice to sit down as a family and sing along to the songs :-)

Here are the finished pictures:

Calendar Cats Update

Hello friends,

here is todays update. I have finished the January Cat and started the February one. But it has to wait for now because I'm stitching on a round robin (the last one for this one) and this has to come first. But  is a Margaret Sherry cat too ;-)

I'm looking forward to see all the other updates

Calendar Cats - January

Hello!

I have chosen the Calendar Cats by Margaret Sherry for this wonderful SAL. This is the January cat. I am stitching on evenweave which is a blessing because there are a lot of squashed stitches.
