I finished My Lady last night and I just love how she turned out. I've changed the colours in the skirt a bit.
I stitched her in memory of my mother and the ornament I've used is a Scottish coin from 1942. It's one of a handful that my father brought back with him during WWII, after having met and married my mother in Scotland.
I've found a nice frame for her, so I'll have a go at framing her myself.

It's lovely and the ornament used for it makes it very special! I'm sure this will be a real heirloom.
O Jan, the lady looks great. And I love the ornament. This will be a heirloom cherished forever.
